Public speaking does not have to be a nightmare, but it is one of the biggest phobias of people living in the United States. Something about getting up in front of a large group of people, especially people that we do not know or who we want to like us, really puts us on edge. Some people are so concerned about their group communication skills that they pass up promotions because they do not want to speak in front of people.
